Just ran across these and I think there pretty cool! You can custom order them and have them laser etch any design on the case! Its cool to see bamboo wood cases as opposed to all the rubber and plastic cases floating around... Just another way you can go green, and only for $50!

iPhone 4G

So, the iPhone 4 is launching June 24th on AT&T. Available in both black and white, the 16GB iPhone 4 will cost $199 while the 32GB model will go for $299. Both prices reflect 2-year contract prices with AT&T. The iPhone 3GS will replace the iPhone 3G. Unfortunately the storage capacity will drop to 8GB, but then again so will the price. It will go for $99 on contract. **The Countdown Begins**

Driving a Car with an iPhone!
"we turned an Oldsmobile Delta '88 into a remote control car in just 4 weeks. We built our control systems using a few motors, potentiometers, a Compact RIO embedded controller, and LabVIEW. We then set up wi-fi communication so we can drive the car from an iPhone as well as from a modified Power Wheels truck."

The Happiness Hat Forces you to smile!!! OUCH!

If the Happiness Hat, created by interactive artist and designer Lauren McCarthy, senses that you aren't smiling, it shoves a metal spike into your head until you do. A ruthless device to help you train your way to what McCarthy calls "Improved Social-Interacting." She demonstrates in the video below:

Stylophone Beatbox for $25!!! the illness
Want to live-out your nerdiest Kraftwerk or hip hop fantasies? As this video shows, too much time on your hands and the Stylophone Beatbox is all it takes. Its 13 metal pads trigger samples from UK beatbox champ, MC Zani. You tap out sounds with a stylus, and a loop mode lets you build and layer loops using the included percussion, human beatbox, and bass samples. There are also record and scratch modes, plus an MP3 input feature. I am trying to buy or have already bought this while you were watching the video!

Piet Fireplace by Fredrik Hyltén-Cavallius

Piet is a chimney free indoor stove with a brass reflector, that burns ethanol fuel instead of wood. This gives no smoke or soot and thereby eliminates the need of a chimney.
A layer of rockwool fire insulation between the reflector and the outer shell keeps the outside cool. This means that you can always touch the ceramic body of Piet without burning your hand and also means that Piet can be placed closer to walls or other furniture.
Since it doesn’t require any permanent installation you can just bring it with along when you move or place it wherever you like when you refurnish. The name is a tribute to Danish architect and mathematician Piet Hein since the stove has the form of a super elliptic egg.

Little horn speakers: nothing little about them

Each speaker is a whopping 36″ tall. So why are they called Little Horn? Because the horn is an 8-feet tall beast. Little Speaker’s horns are made of fiberglass, while the base – which houses the driver – is made using “heavy, void-free Baltic birch plywood.” Little Horn speakers are equipped with Fostex full-range drivers, the FE-103E and the FE-108 Sigma.
